Sustainability<\/h1>\n

One of the principles of Saimaan Palju Events is fair conduct towards our customers, partners, and our environment. We are committed to continuously improving our operations to be more responsible, both ecologically, sociocultural, and economically. Below are mentions of the actions we are already taking to provide a better environment for all of us to work and live.<\/p>\n

Ecological Sustainability:<\/h3>\n

  • We do not offer bottled water to our customers; instead, we prefer tap water.<\/li>\n
  • We sort and dispose of waste during our outings, leaving no trace in nature.<\/li>\n
  • Our sauna boat is gets the electricity from solar panels, with all water being collected and recycled properly.<\/li>\n
  • We encourage our customers to engage in outdoor activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Sociocultural Sustainability:<\/h3>\n

    • During our outings, we share the history and significance of the locations we visit.<\/li>\n
    • Seasonal workers' requests for days off are fully accommodated.<\/li>\n
    • We support our staff's opportunities to engage in outdoor activities by providing them with sports equipment for personal use.<\/li>\n
    • We support local sports clubs and associations.<\/li>\n
    • We offer our employees opportunities for skill development through training.<\/li>\n
    • Our products are designed to serve both local residents and travelers from abroad.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Economic Sustainability:<\/h3>\n

      • We develop products that enable year-round operations.<\/li>\n
      • Our partner guides are local, and they receive fair compensation for their work.<\/li>\n
      • When acquiring equipment, we prioritize quality and long-term usability, considering the availability of spare parts.<\/li>\n
      • We extend the length of time tourists spend in our economic region.<\/li>\n
      • We collaborate with other local businesses to jointly develop new products.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Our Environmental Pledge<\/h1>\n

        We are committed to doing our part to protect the environment and build a sustainable future. Our goal is to continuously develop our operations in collaboration with our partners.
